Hello, my name is Rose. In June 2021 I started Salon Opal, a cooperative workspace for independent hair stylists.
I am a stylist with 20 years of experience. I trained at Gene Juarez Academy and then attended Gene Juarez Advanced Training. I enjoy creating rooty, blended and dimensional colors and long cuts with movement. I specialize in blondes (but love all colors) and love designing beautiful, lived in looks that grow out soft, while staying up on the trends. I take into consideration facial structure, undertones, lifestyle and budgets to help curate the best overall cuts and colors for my guests. I enjoy creating beautiful balayages, lived in melty color using hair color, hair cut, balayage the latest tecniques. But most of all I aspire to make my guests feel welcomed, valued, and to leave feeling excited about their new hair.
I am a PNW native, mother of two amazing daughters, Seattle hair salon owner and stylist, doggie mama to my little guy Buddy the Shih Tzu (who visits the salon from time to time) and Charlie a big bossy American Bulldog . I love to sing, play music, travel to warm places, snorkel, playing in Disneyland with my girls, SUP, riding horses, drinking matcha (I'll make you one;) fashion and so on.

I began my journey in the beauty industry after graduating from Gene Juarez Academy in 2010. I spent five amazing years at Aveda, where I deepened my love for hair artistry, before launching my own business in 2016.
Hair color is my passion whether it’s blonding, custom color, or transformative extensions. In 2020, I became certified in IBE® hand-tied extensions, which quickly became my favorite method for their seamless, natural finish and versatility.
I believe every appointment should be intentional, personalized, and full of care. By considering your facial features, skin tone, lifestyle, and budget, I create looks that feel authentic, effortless, and uniquely yours.
Specializing in high-impact blondes, dimensional color, lived-in blondes, and reds/coppers, I use the latest techniques in both coloring and cutting to deliver results that are modern yet timeless.
Most importantly, I want every guest to feel welcomed, valued, and excited about their hair because your experience in my chair should be just as beautiful as the results we create together.
